What “AI-native” actually means
It is not a chatbot on a careers page. It is building the agency so matching is the system, not a feature bolted on later.
“AI-native” is doing a lot of unearned work in recruiting right now. It usually means: we generate outreach, we summarize résumés, we have a widget.
That is AI-adjacent. It is the same agency with a faster intern.
Native means the system is built around the model
An AI-native recruiting shop designs the pipeline as retrieval and ranking from day one. Humans do the parts models are bad at. Models do the parts humans do not scale at.
The website, the intake, the network, the intro — those are interfaces onto that system. They are not the product.
We are shipping the marketing site first, on purpose. The matching platform comes next, in a stack that is good at embeddings and evals. This site exists to tell the truth about the work and to take the first conversations. It does not pretend a Laravel form is a matching engine.
What we will not do
We will not auto-email engineers with a generated paragraph about their “impressive background.” We will not score people on how well they match a keyword cloud. We will not hide a human behind a bot and call it leverage.
If a model cannot improve the short list, it does not belong in the loop.
The tell
You can tell an AI-native shop from an AI-flavored one in the first meeting. They talk about false positives, evals, and what they will not automate. They can explain a candidate without reading the résumé aloud.
That is the standard we are holding ourselves to. If we miss it, you should hire someone else.
