Auto apply for software engineers
Auto apply to jobs. You pick the roles.
Advant fills and submits applications on Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby, and finishes Workday, iCIMS, and other sign-in sites through a Chrome extension. Each application carries the résumé version that fits the job and your own cover letter.
Automate the form, not the decision.
Most of the time an application takes goes to retyping: the same name, links, and work history in a slightly different form every time. That part is safe to hand off.
Choosing which roles deserve an application is different. Some auto apply tools advertise how many applications they send. Advant does not treat the send count as the win. It applies only to roles you picked, and it shows why each one matched your stack and seniority.
A submit button should not be a guess either. When a form asks something your profile cannot answer, Advant stops and asks you, then keeps the answer for the next form.
How it works
-
01
Build one profile
Your stack, seniority, location, and links to work you shipped, plus your résumé in Advant's builder with a version for each kind of role. Advant reuses it on every form, so you stop retyping the same answers.
-
02
Pick the roles
Advant scores live software engineering jobs against your profile and shows why each one fits. You choose where to apply. Nothing goes out for a role you did not pick.
-
03
Advant files the application
For each pick, Advant chooses the résumé version that fits that posting, fills in your cover letter, and completes the employer's own form. With review before submit on, it fills the form in your browser and leaves the last click to you.
-
04
Read the tracker
A role shows as submitted only after the employer's page confirms it. Anything Advant could not answer, or a CAPTCHA, comes back with the questions listed.
Where auto apply runs
- Greenhouse Filed from the cloud. No account needed on the employer side.
- Lever Filed from the cloud. Advant opens the apply page behind the posting.
- Ashby Filed from the cloud, including Ashby's yes/no buttons and custom fields.
- Workday, iCIMS, and the rest Filled in your own browser, with your sign-ins and a person on hand for CAPTCHAs.
What Advant fills
- Your name, contact details, and links to GitHub, LinkedIn, or a portfolio.
- The résumé version that fits that posting and your own cover letter, as PDFs or pasted text, whichever the form takes.
- Standard questions such as work authorization and location, from your profile answers.
- Dropdowns, yes/no buttons, and the other custom widgets each applicant tracking system builds its own way.
What comes back to you
- Questions only you can answer, such as why you want this job. Advant lists them, you answer once, and it saves the answer for next time.
- CAPTCHAs. A person has to click those.
- Sign-in walls. Those go to the extension, which runs in your own browser.
- Any submit the employer's page never confirmed. Advant does not retry those, so the same application is never sent twice.

Questions about auto apply
Does auto apply to jobs actually work?
It removes the form filling, which is most of the time an application takes. It does not make you a better fit for a role, so Advant applies only to roles you picked and shows why each one matched.
Is auto apply safe? Will I get flagged?
No tool can promise that. Advant submits through the employer's own application form, one role at a time, for jobs you chose. It is not a LinkedIn Easy Apply bot and it does not send hundreds of identical applications.
Which sites can Advant auto apply on?
Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby are filed from the cloud. Workday, iCIMS, and other sites that need a sign-in are filled by the Advant Chrome extension in your browser.
Can I review an application before it is sent?
Yes. With review before submit on, the form is filled in your browser and you press submit yourself.
What happens when a form asks something Advant cannot answer?
The application moves to needs you with the questions listed. You answer once, Advant saves the answers, and the application goes back in the queue.
Does Advant answer diversity and demographic questions?
No. It declines them, and those answers never reach employers through Advant.
Could the same application be sent twice?
No. If a submit ends in an unknown state, Advant marks it needs you instead of retrying, and a submitted application is never queued again.
Is auto apply free?
Your first 25 tailored applications are free. Pro removes the cap.
