How a Lever application works
A Lever posting and its application are two pages. The posting is at jobs.lever.co/company/id, and the form is the same address with /apply on the end. Advant makes that jump, so a link copied from the job description still lands on the form.
Lever forms are short: name, email, phone, current company, links, and a résumé upload, then whatever custom questions the team added and an optional survey. Most of that comes straight from your profile. The custom questions are the part that usually needs you.
Why the résumé changes per role
Advant picks the résumé version that matches each posting, so the file Lever receives leads with the experience that role asks for, and it fills your cover letter with the company and role. When a form asks how you heard about the job, Advant answers with its own name.
What Advant fills
- Name, email, phone, current company, and links.
- The matching résumé version and your cover letter, as a file or as text.
- Standard yes/no and location questions from your profile.
- The "how did you hear about us" question.
What comes back to you
- Custom questions the hiring team wrote, such as why you want this role.
- A CAPTCHA, if the page shows one.
- Any answer that is not in your profile. Advant asks instead of guessing.
Questions about auto apply
Does Lever need a login?
No. Lever's hosted application form works without a candidate account, so Advant files it from the cloud.
What if I have the link to the job description, not the form?
That works. Advant adds the /apply step itself and opens the form.
What does Lever receive?
An ordinary application through the public form, with a résumé and cover letter attached. Advant does not use a side door or a special API.
Does Advant answer the voluntary survey?
It declines the diversity and demographic questions. Those answers never reach employers through Advant.
